MyWoosah is a care infrastructure platform that supports families, employees, providers, employers, hospitals, health systems, managed care organizations, TPAs, brokers, unions, EAPs, residential programs, and other organizations through technology, care coordination, provider management, workforce support, and related services.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, disclosed, stored, and protected across all MyWoosah products, platforms, programs, services, and enterprise partnerships.

Data sharing that occurs is strictly for service delivery, program administration, and legal compliance purposes only.

When families and employer-sponsored employees use the MyWoosah platform, we may collect and use information to:

  • Process and manage care service requests
  • Facilitate Care-Hour purchases and Hours Bank transactions
  • Verify benefit eligibility with sponsoring employers or programs
  • Maintain service history and care preferences
  • Administer Care POD and community care programs
  • Coordinate emergency contact and caregiver communications
  • Generate service reports for employer-sponsored programs

We collect provider information including:

  • Background check and screening results
  • Licenses, certifications, and insurance documents
  • Credentialing and verification documentation
  • Performance metrics and review history
  • Availability data and scheduling preferences
  • Earnings and payout records

This information is used for:

  • Provider matching and placement
  • Regulatory compliance and credentialing
  • Quality assurance and performance management
  • Program administration and reporting
  • Payment processing via third-party providers

MyWoosah may receive limited information from sponsoring employers, including:

  • Employee eligibility and roster data
  • Benefit program enrollment information
  • Utilization and program usage reporting
  • Administrative and billing information

Employer data is used only to administer authorized benefit programs. MyWoosah maintains appropriate safeguards and does not use employer data for purposes beyond program administration without authorization.

MyWoosah works with TPAs to administer:

  • Flex card and supplemental benefit programs
  • Workforce care and employee assistance programs
  • Reimbursement and claims administration programs
  • Care benefit utilization and reporting

Information exchanged with TPAs is limited to what is necessary for program operation, governed by data processing agreements, and subject to applicable data protection requirements.

Benefit brokers who refer employers or administer programs through MyWoosah may receive limited administrative and program performance information. Broker access is governed by platform agreements, and information is limited to authorized program oversight activities.

MyWoosah supports managed care organizations and health plans through:

  • Care coordination and transition management
  • Placement support and network management
  • Provider credentialing and quality assurance
  • Member service coordination and reporting

Information sharing with MCOs and health plans occurs only as authorized by law, program requirements, and applicable data sharing agreements. MyWoosah does not share protected health information beyond what is authorized under applicable law.

MyWoosah supports hospital and health system partners through:

  • Discharge planning and transition coordination
  • Caregiver support and placement services
  • Post-acute care coordination
  • Provider network management

Data sharing with hospitals and health systems occurs only when authorized by applicable law and program agreements. MyWoosah operates as a business associate where required under applicable healthcare privacy frameworks.

MyWoosah may work with EAP sponsors to administer care coordination programs. EAP program administration involves limited eligibility verification and program utilization data. Information shared is limited to what is necessary for program delivery and is governed by applicable EAP program agreements.

MyWoosah supports union-sponsored care benefit programs. Information used in union programs is limited to member eligibility, benefit enrollment, and program utilization as authorized by the applicable collective bargaining agreement or program terms. Data is handled in accordance with applicable union program requirements.

Care PODs are shared care environments coordinated through the MyWoosah platform. Participant information may be used to:

  • Coordinate schedules across POD participants
  • Manage provider assignments within the POD
  • Track service delivery and care hours
  • Coordinate transportation and logistics
  • Administer POD billing and payment

POD participant information is shared only among authorized POD members, the assigned provider, and MyWoosah program administrators.

Recovery PODs support temporary recovery, discharge, and placement-related services. Information collected and used includes:

  • Recovery and discharge coordination information
  • Temporary placement and housing support data
  • Post-acute care service coordination
  • Provider assignment and care transition information

Recovery POD information is treated with enhanced sensitivity given its connection to post-acute care settings.

MyWoosah may facilitate introductions to independent financing providers. Financing providers maintain their own independent privacy policies. MyWoosah does not control the privacy practices of third-party financing partners.

When CNPL financing options are presented, users should review the applicable financing provider's privacy policy before completing a financing application. MyWoosah does not receive, store, or share financing application data beyond what is necessary to initiate the introduction.

The MyWoosah Childcare Savings Account® program requires collection and administration of:

  • Account holder eligibility and enrollment information
  • Contribution and balance tracking
  • Qualified expense verification
  • Program participant and dependent information
  • Employer sponsorship and subsidy administration

CSA information is used solely for program administration and is protected in accordance with applicable financial privacy and data protection requirements.

While we implement robust security measures, no system is impenetrable. We encourage users to use strong passwords, keep account credentials confidential, and report any suspected unauthorized access promptly.

MyWoosah retains personal information based on:

  • Contractual obligations with enterprise partners
  • Dispute resolution and legal defense requirements

When information is no longer required for any of the above purposes, MyWoosah securely deletes or anonymizes it in accordance with applicable standards.

Additional state privacy laws may apply. MyWoosah monitors evolving state privacy legislation and updates this section accordingly.

MyWoosah does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 for its own account purposes.

Children may participate in authorized childcare programs administered through employer or MCO-sponsored programs. In those cases, limited information about minor dependents may be collected as part of care service delivery, with parental or guardian authorization.

If we become aware that information about a child under 13 has been collected without appropriate authorization, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. Contact privacy@mywoosah.com to report concerns.

MyWoosah is operated from the United States. If you access the platform from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States.

Data protection laws in the United States may differ from laws in your jurisdiction. By using the MyWoosah platform, users outside the United States acknowledge and consent to this transfer.

MyWoosah will maintain appropriate safeguards for cross-border data transfers as required by applicable law.

MyWoosah may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our platform, services, enterprise partnerships, legal requirements, or data practices.

When material changes are made, users will be notified as required by applicable law, which may include notice via the platform, email, or prominent posting on this page.

Continued use of the MyWoosah platform following the effective date of a revised Privacy Policy constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
